Love wins
The more you know, the less peace you can possibly have. Wisdom transcends knowledge.
I was a lifelong liberal and thought I knew what was what. I framed conservative perspectives as moral defects. I shamed others, including friends and loved ones, who disagreed with my lefty views.
When my worldviews veered in alternative directions, I patronized my former lefty comrades. The things I said online embarrassed my gramma.
At some point, it wasn’t about what I was fighting for. It was about the fight. This is how it went with me in my family and career.
My heart stopped. Then it opened in a burst of loving light.
Now, I’m a single-issue voter. My only issue is whether the candidate will lead from the heart.
When we lead from the heart, we always put the common good first and do the right thing.
I don’t think the Democrat or Republican presidential candidates are about putting love first. Their mostly mean messages show they’re mostly about winning and being right.
Since I can’t find a presidential candidate with a decent chance of winning the election who’s about putting love first, I’m doing things differently. I’m voting for Love for president.
Love is the most powerful force in Nature. It’s the energy that holds everything together. We access this force when we lead from the heart. We can’t go wrong when we lead from the heart and go with Love.
I sat my 11-year-old son down to deliver this speech, and when I finished, he rolled his eyes and laughed at me. Then he patted my shoulder, gave me a world-weary smile, hugged me, and said, “Everything’s gonna be ok, Dad.”
Love wins again. It’s undefeated.
